Add ability to give in honor or in memory of someone

On your Core Profile and any Campaign Page, you can easily add (or remove) a way for people to dedicate a donation by giving in honor or in memory of someone.

Text Walkthrough

To activate the “Allow donors to dedicate their donations” link on your Core Profile:

  1. Log in to the Nonprofit Admin Portal.
  2. Under "Edit Your Nonprofit's Core Profile," click the "Basic Information" button.
  3. Scroll down to "Allow donors to dedicate their donations" and check the box.
  4. Click "Save" at the bottom of the page. The “Dedicate This Gift” link will now appear on your campaign page just above the "Continue" (donate) button.
  5. You can follow the same process to uncheck the box at any time.

For fundraising Campaign Pages:

  1. Log in to the Nonprofit Admin Portal.
  2. Under "Recent Campaign Pages," find your campaign and click the "Manage" button. (If you can't find the campaign in the list of "Recent Campaign Pages," click "Campaigns" in the top navigation bar, find the desired campaign and click the "Manage" button associated with it.)
  3. In the "Edit Campaign Page" section, click the "Campaign Name, Description, and Goal" link.
  4. Scroll down to "Allow donors to dedicate their donations" and check the box.
  5. Click "Save" at the bottom of the page.
  6. The “Dedicate This Gift” link will now appear on your campaign page just above the "Continue" (donate) button.
  7. You can follow the same process to uncheck the box at any time.
